Calling all volunteers!
In a few weeks, students from across Quebec and Ontario will be invited to apply for a Desjardins scholarship. We'll need close to a hundred of volunteer jury members to evaluate these applications in April and May 2021.
What’s involved?
- Be able to commit to about 10 volunteer hours between April 12 and May 14, 2021, to review roughly 50 applications
- Review applications from post-secondary students using the criteria we provide and a scorecard independently in the comfort of your home
- Read and understand French (most applications are in French)
- Be committed to helping students graduate and succeed in school
If you're interested, let us know by filling out the online form by March 19.
Please note: To avoid any conflict of interest, you cannot be a jury member if you, a member of your immediate family (that is, a spouse, child or someone you live with) is applying for a scholarship.
Once the jury has been selected, we'll contact members by email to explain their role and the next steps.
