Save when you rent a car

Planning to rent a vehicle at your destination? Look for the Hertz®, Thrifty® and Dollar® signs—you may get exclusive discounts. You don’t need to pay extra for collision insurance. When you use your card to pay for your car rental, up to 48 consecutive days of coverage may already be included.4

Take advantage of additional coverage on your purchases

When you buy eligible items with your credit card, you could be covered in the event of loss, theft or damage. This may even include certain items purchased outside Canada!4 Some cards may also offer an extended warranty that can double or triple the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Use your card safely

To help prevent fraud, check your transactions regularly, whether you used your credit card in person, online or over the phone. Aside from that, never share confidential information with anyone you don’t know and trust. If there is fraudulent activity on your card, you can rest assured that you won’t be held liable for unauthorized transactions thanks to Zero Liability.5

Can’t find your credit card?

Is your card is lost or stolen? To prevent fraudulent transactions, just log in to AccèsD or the Desjardins mobile services app to temporarily lock your card yourself. Do it anytime, anywhere.
