What to do the first time you log in

Choose your security questions

  1. Select 3 security questions.
  2. Enter the answers to your questions. 
  3. Review and confirm your security settings.

Confirm your identity

To access your account, you need to confirm your identity using 2-step verification.

  1. Enter your Desjardins Debit Card number or your AccèsD Affaires user code.
  2. Enter your password.
  3. You’ll receive a single-use security code by text, push notification or phone call. Enter the code to access your account.

Logging out

Your session automatically ends after 8 minutes of inactivity, whether you’re on a computer or mobile device. To log in again, you need to re-enter your username and password.
 
To be safe, never leave your computer or mobile device unattended while logged in. Always log out if you step away from your computer, even if you plan to come back in a few minutes.

How to make your account more secure

Create a strong password

Your password must:

  • Contain 8 to 128 characters
  • Be different from your last 6 passwords
  • Be hard to guess

It can also include one or more uppercase or lowercase letters, one or more numbers or special characters, or several words, with or without spaces. 
 
Tips are also displayed under the New password field to help guide you.
 
You can use your password to log in on from a computer, phone or tablet. You cannot use it with AccèsD Telephone.

Get an AccèsD Telephone password

AccèsD Telephone passwords have 3 digits. If you already have one, you can still use it.

Password and PIN (personal identification number)

Your password is different from the PIN for your debit card, which has 5 digits and is only used for ATM or direct payment transactions.
