CHANGES TO THE HELIOS2 CONTRACT

Montreal, September 23, 2025 – Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company (DFS) has announced that, as of March 31, 2026, it will no longer be possible to open Helios2 Guaranteed Investment Funds (GIFs) contracts. Consequently, DFS will cease to offer new Helios2 Contracts starting on that date. This strategic decision was made to simplify and optimize our line of investment products while meeting the current and future needs of members and clients.

Please note that people who currently have Helios2 Contracts are not affected by this change. They retain the rights and benefits associated with their contracts, which will continue to be administered. Distribution networks can offer Helios2 Contracts until March 31, 2026. After that date, a number of other Desjardins investment solutions will be offered to meet the needs of members and clients.
