How to send an international money transfer

Learn how to send an international money transfer on AccèsD. This feature is not yet available in our mobile app.

Instructions

Access international money transfers 

To enable this feature, call us. We’ll also set a transfer limit if you didn’t do so when you opened your account.

  1. Log in to AccèsD. On the home page, select the Transfers button.

  2. Select the International money transfers button.

    Note

    If it’s your first time making an international money transfer, you have to accept the terms of use. You’ll also be asked to confirm your identity using 2-step verification.

  3. On the International money transfers page, select the Add a recipient link.

Add a recipient

  1. On the International money transfers page, select the Add button.

  2. In the Add a recipient section, under Destination, choose the country you want to send funds to from the dropdown list.

  3. Under Recipient, enter your recipient’s information, then select the Next button.

  4. Enter your recipient’s banking information. The information may vary depending on the transfer method and the destination country (learn more about the information required for SWIFT transfers and international direct deposits). Then select the OK button.

  5. Select the Next button.

  6. Enter the address of your recipient’s financial institution branch, then select the Next button.

  7. On the Add a recipient - Validation page, make sure all your recipient’s information is accurate.

  8. Select the box to accept the terms of use, then select the Confirm button.


Send an international money transfer

  1. In the Make a transfer tab, choose the source account you want to send funds from.

  2. Under Transfer information, select your recipient from the dropdown list.

  3. Enter your transfer amount, then select the currency from the dropdown list. 

  4. Once you’ve entered all the required information in the Make a transfer tab, select the Next button. 

  5. Make sure all the information is accurate, then select the Next button.

  6. Under Select type of transfer, select either Swift or Direct deposit, then select the Next button.  

  7. On the Validation page, double-check all the information for the transfer, select the box to accept the terms of use, then select the Confirm button to send your transfer.
