How to accept a money request
Learn how to accept an Interac e-Transfer® money request using our mobile and online services.

Mobile app
By email
Open the email from Interac and select the Select a financial institution link.
Choose Desjardins from the list of financial institutions.
The Desjardins mobile services app opens automatically if you have it on your smartphone or tablet. Log in.
On the Request to send money page, select the Send funds button.
Select the Send funds button to confirm your choice.
On the Send requested funds page, select the Select account button.
On the Select account page, choose the account you want to send funds from, then select the Confirm button.
On the Send requested funds page, select the Review button.
On the Review e-Transfer details page, make sure the information is accurate, then select the Confirm button to send the money.
By text
Open the text message from 100001 or 100002 (Interac texting numbers) and select the link.
Choose Desjardins from the list of financial institutions.
The Desjardins mobile services app opens automatically if you have it on your smartphone or tablet. Log in.
On the Request to send money page, select the Send funds button.
Select the Send funds button to confirm your choice.
On the Send requested funds page, select the Select account button.
On the Select account page, choose the account you want to send funds from, then select the Confirm button.
On the Send requested funds page, select the Review button.
On the Review e-Transfer details page, make sure all the information is accurate, then select the Confirm button to send the money.
Web browser
Open the email from Interac and select the Select a financial institution link.
Choose Desjardins from the list of financial institutions.
The AccèsD login page opens automatically in your web browser. Log in.
On the You’ve received a request to send money page, select the Send funds button.
Select the Send funds button to confirm your choice.
On the Send requested funds page, choose the account you want to send funds from, then select the Continue button.
Make sure all the information is accurate, then select the Confirm button to send the money.
