Normand holds a law degree and has been a member in good standing of the Bar of Montreal since 1985, beginning his career in criminal law. Over the years, he honed his interpersonal and analytical skills, eventually turning his focus to his second passion: investing.
In 1998, he became an investment advisor and went on to hold various senior management positions with established firms in the financial services industry. He also earned the GPC.D designation (Governance in Practice), designed to equip leaders with the tools to drive sustainable growth and long-term organizational success.
In 2010, building on more than a decade of experience, he earned the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation—one of the industry’s highest standards in investment management.
Known for his visionary approach, Normand demonstrates sound judgment and a steadfast commitment to ethical practice.
He joined Desjardins Securities in September 2024.

William Robert

After studying business administration and economics, William started his business in the automotive industry, where he developed a keen understanding of advisory services. With extensive experience in every area of entrepreneurship, he became an independent representative and later a banking services advisor to major Canadian financial services providers. In addition to these roles, he further enhanced his skills by taking the Investment Funds in Canada course and the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®).
He joined Desjardins Securities in September 2024.
