Maryana Sokolyuk brings over 25 years of experience in financial services and marketing. With Desjardins Group since 2006, she joined Wermenlinger Advisory Group in 2009 and became a partner of the recently renamed Wermenlinger Sokolyuk Group in  2021.

Maryana holds a master’s degree in marketing and an executive MBA specializing in financial services from the School of Management at Université du Québec à Montréal. She holds the FCSI (Fellow of CSI) designation, the highest honour in Canadian financial services, awarded by the Canadian Securities Institute, and received the RIAC designation from the Responsible Investment Association of Canada.

Maryana stands out for her leadership and efficiency. As a portfolio manager, she is highly skilled and possesses and enviable capacity for learning and an impressive memory. Mario Sylvestre joined our team in December 2006. Prior to that, he held a leadership role in financial planning and served as senior tax advisor for the firm founded by Laurent Wermenlinger in 1996. Mario holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from HEC Montréal and is a member of the CPA Order, CGA and the Institute of Financial Planning. He specializes in tax and financial planning, an undeniable asset for our clients.

Associate Wealth Management Advisor

Camille joined Desjardins Securities in 2019 as an administrative assistant. She has a degree in management and fashion design from UQAM’s School of Management and completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to learn more about the financial industry.
