Edith has had a passion for mathematics since childhood. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Université de Montréal, she continued her education by earning an executive MBA at Université du Québec à Montréal.

She also completed an international MBA at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL.

Edith gained extensive experience through her various management positions as a trader on the Montréal Exchange, a bond trader for a large brokerage firm, and later as a portfolio manager.

In 2008, she co-founded Beaucage Bruneau Advisory Group with Christian Bruneau, a colleague who has long shared her vision of financial planning. Together, they run their team with a personalized approach, each with their own specialty, perfectly complementing one another according to the highly specialized needs of the families they serve.

Edith excels at problem-solving and risk management. She’s known for her human approach to numbers. Her in-depth knowledge and ability to recognize important distinctions in her decision-making have helped her build a strong reputation with clients who manage large family assets.

Above all, she’s driven by her commitment to protecting the well-being of her clients and their loved ones. Unlike many other professionals who work on an hourly basis, her focus is on making intentional decisions to build wealth for the benefit of those who created it.

Her background gives her a unique perspective and approach, along with an exceptional combination of skills and knowledge, which have been benefitting her clients for more than three decades.

She’s passionate about empowering women to engage with their finances, believing that everyone can benefit from taking an active interest in their assets and financial security.

While she has a talent for finance, Excel sheets, and never-ending columns of numbers, Edith also likes to let loose, especially out in the countryside. She and her partner run a small farm with their young children, where they grow organic vegetables.

Edith is an amateur foodie who is passionate about organic farming. She’s happiest when her loved ones are gathered around the table, creating beautiful memories for a future she hopes will be comfortable for all.

With a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Université du Québec à Montréal and a specialization in financial planning from the Quebec Institute of Financial Planning, Christian boasts over 25 years of experience.

An entrepreneur at heart, he transitioned from a decade as an investment advisor at an independent firm to co-found a wealth management team aimed at addressing the complex needs of high-net-worth clients. That team turned into Beaucage Bruneau Advisory Group.

Over the years, Christian has become a trusted advisor to the clients and families served by Beaucage Bruneau, whether it’s for wealth preservation or transfers, capital growth, establishing family trusts, or arranging bequests.

He’s earned the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation, a globally recognized credential in wealth management, to provide services that address the diverse and complex needs of affluent clients.

Christian is committed to his community. A former president of the Sainte-Thérèse Lions Club, he’s been an active member of this organization, which focuses on serving youth, since 2000.

Motivated by the impact of multiple sclerosis on his loved ones, he contributes to MS Canada by volunteering and making donations. He also supports the Moisson Laurentides food bank, which helps local people in need.

A nature enthusiast and dedicated family man, he appreciates beauty, architecture, cuisine, and playing golf (even if his performance doesn’t always meet his ambitions).

Sophia has a real passion for numbers, challenges, and customer service. Since joining Beaucage Bruneau nearly three years ago, she’s helped handle daily business activities and operational tasks, among other responsibilities.

Sophia graduated from HEC Montréal’s trilingual bachelor of business administration program in 2021, majoring in finance. Once she earns her professional designations, she’d like to become a portfolio manager.

After graduating, Sophia chose to put her knowledge of stock markets and personal finance into practice at Desjardins.

Above all else, it was Beaucage Bruneau’s management philosophy that resonated with her when she made the switch from a caisse to an independent affiliated group.

“I chose to work at Beaucage Bruneau because the founders’ values really resonate with me: the importance of family, building lasting relationships and a strong commitment to the well-being of our clients and their loved ones.”

Since she was very young, Sophia has always liked to push herself. In university, she participated in a trading club, an inter-university trade exchange simulation, and a real estate competition. She and her team represented HEC Montréal in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of a student exchange, where she won an award for her leadership abilities and dedication.

Sophia, who sees herself as a bundle of energy, is interested in responsible investing. She hopes to inspire other women to consider careers in finance, or at the very least, to learn more about it.

Sophia loves the outdoors, world cuisine, and travelling. She’s also a formidable volleyball player.

Édouard, a CFA charterholder, blends extensive financial expertise with an impressive academic background that includes an MBA, a graduate diploma in communications, and a bachelor’s in political communications. His deep passion for finance allows him to effectively guide clients in managing and growing their wealth with precision and foresight. Leveraging his diverse background, Édouard simplifies complex wealth management concepts, offering clients clear insights and tailored strategies to enhance their financial future.

Born in a housing cooperative, Édouard has over 24 years of experience in the cooperative sector, where he’s held various roles and developed a deep understanding of collective dynamics and a strong commitment to impactful projects. In 2018, he co-founded the nonprofit organization Les Courses partagées de Québec, an inclusive running club that welcomes individuals with reduced mobility. He’s proud to continue serving on its board of directors.

Beyond numbers, Édouard is passionate about sports and the outdoors. He’s tried everything from hockey and soccer to football and ultimate frisbee, and he still skates regularly. An adventure seeker at heart, he once crossed Maine on foot as a mountain guide for Camp Tekakwitha, showcasing his leadership, endurance, and love for nature.
