Help with logging in

How do I log in to AccèsD using my fingerprint or facial recognition?

To log in to AccèsD using your fingerprint or facial recognition, you must first activate the feature in your device settings. Then activate biometric login in our mobile app by selecting Security, then Username.

How do I change my password on AccèsD?

To change your AccèsD password:

  1. Log in to AccèsD from a computer or the Desjardins mobile services app.
  2. Select Security, then Password, then follow the instructions.

How do I save my AccèsD username?

If you want your AccèsD username to be filled in for you, go to the login page and enter your username. Tick the Remember me box. You can add a description if you want (examples: Marie's account, Joint account).

Why is 2-step verification enabled when I log in to AccèsD?

2-step verification is now required to log in and can't be deactivated. It verifies your identity using your password and a single-use security code. You can choose how often you receive a security code on your devices.

To change your security settings, go to the Security section on AccèsD.

How do I report a change of address on AccèsD?

To change the address associated with your accounts on AccèsD:

  1. Log in to AccèsD.
  2. In the mobile app, select More in the lower right corner, then Profile and preferences, then Contact information.
  3. From a browser, select Profile and preferences, then Change contact information in the Profile section.

You will need to update the contact information for each of your Desjardins products and services.

How do I download a void cheque on AccèsD?

To get a void cheque for one of your accounts:

  1. Log in to AccèsD from the Desjardins mobile services app or on a computer.
  2. From the mobile app, select the everyday account you'd like a void cheque for. Select Information, then Void cheque under Account details.
  3. From a browser, select More options, then Void cheque. In the table, select the link next to the account you want a void cheque for.

The void cheque will be produced as a PDF.

How do I deposit a cheque on AccèsD using my mobile device?

To use our mobile deposit feature, log in to AccèsD using the mobile app on your smartphone or tablet. Select Deposit, then follow the instructions on screen. Be sure to place your cheque on a dark surface.

How do I order cheques on AccèsD?

To order cheques online, log in to AccèsD from a computer and select More options, then Order cheques.

How do I make online donations using AccèsD?

To make an online donation on AccèsD:

  1. Log in to AccèsD from the Desjardins mobile services app using a smartphone or tablet, or from a browser.
  2. Select Pay, then add the organization to your list of bill recipients on AccèsD.
  3. Once the organization is added to your list, select it to make your donation.

You can also schedule donations on the dates you choose.

Do I need to inform Desjardins that I'm going on a trip?

We no longer need to be notified if you plan to travel.

Financial insights

How do I see my financial insights?

To see your financial insights:

  1. Log in to AccèsD from the Desjardins mobile app.
  2. Under Financial insights, scroll through the insights.
  3. Select an insight for more detailed information.

To view archived insights, select See all. You can view them for up to 35 days.

You must be 19 or older to see insights in the mobile app. These insights are based on your transactions and the products and services you use.

Do the financial insights presented by Alvie replace the support I receive from my advisor?

No. Alvie is a virtual assistant that presents personalized financial insights to help you manage your day-to-day finances. You can’t interact with Alvie.

Your advisor, on the other hand, helps you achieve your goals and gives you advice based on your situation and needs. You can ask them questions and share ideas. 

How can I get financial insights that match my needs on AccèsD?

To get personalized financial insights, rate the insights presented to you based on your needs. The higher you rate an insight, the more similar insights you’ll see in the future.

Technical support

My AccèsD session ended and a message pops up saying I've exceeded the time limit. What's the limit?

When you're on AccèsD, your session will end automatically if it's been inactive for 5 minutes. This is a security measure. You can log in again immediately, if you need to.

Can I download a statement in CSV format?

Yes, you can download a CSV (comma separated values) statement. Once you've downloaded your statement, it can be imported into a database or accounting software.

What operating systems and browsers are compatible with AccèsD?

AccèsD is compatible with the latest versions of Windows and macOS. We no longer provide support for Windows 7 or earlier versions.

Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari are compatible with AccèsD.
