Direct deposit of government payments
You can receive payments directly in your account from various government agencies including Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Revenu Québec and Retraite Québec, such as Family Allowance, income tax refunds and other benefits to which you may be entitled.
How to enroll for direct deposit to receive benefits from the CRA and Revenu Québec
You can sign up for direct deposit on AccèsD. You need to have a social insurance number, be a Desjardins caisse member and be registered for AccèsD.
- Log in to AccèsD.
- If you're using the mobile app, select More, Profile and preferences, then Direct deposit. If you log in using a web browser, select More options in the right-hand menu.
- Make your selection and follow the instructions to finish signing up.

How to enroll for direct deposit to receive benefits from Retraite Québec
There are 2 ways to enroll for direct deposit of your Family Allowance, retirement pension or other Retraite Québec benefits.

How do I update my direct deposit information?
Get in touch with your employer to change the direct deposit information for your paycheque.
To change the account where you receive direct deposit of government benefits, go to AccèsD or the CRA External link or Revenu Québec External link website.
How do I find my account number to sign up for direct deposit?
In order to sign up for direct deposit, you need to provide:
- Transit number (5 digits)
- Financial institution number (3 digits)
- Account number (7 digits in total, including a 6-digit folio number and 1 check digit)
You can find these numbers on AccèsD or on one of your cheques.
How do I know if I'm already signed up for direct deposit?
To find out on AccèsD if you're signed up for direct deposit with the CRA or Revenu Québec:
- Log in to AccèsD.
- If you're using the mobile app, select More, Profile and preferences, then Direct deposit. If you log in using a web browser, select More options in the right-hand menu.
- Select an organization to check.
