Community Development Fund (CDF)

Through this fund, Desjardins Ontario Credit Union supports projects that make a real difference in Ontario communities.

Based on a needs assessment of the Ontario communities we serve, in which several local stakeholders took part, Desjardins Ontario Credit Union is launching a call for applications to support organizations, associations and cooperatives that are working on meaningful projects that will have positive impacts on their local community. These projects must fall under 1 of the 5 priorities identified in the needs assessment and outlined in the credit union's community involvement plan.

Main investment priorities

  • Entrepreneurship and business succession
  • Economic excellence and innovation hubs
  • Promoting success in education and training
  • The environment
  • Health and healthy lifestyle choices

Note: Innovative projects that do not fall under 1 of these 5 priorities may still be considered. The Cooperation Committee will decide how to distribute the funding according to the budget available and the projects presented.
