Youth entrepreneurship front and centre with Youth Fusion
With support from the Desjardins Foundation, Youth Fusion continues to contribute to the educational success of young people by setting up entrepreneurial education projects in rural, urban and indigenous schools in Quebec and Ontario.
This year-long program is integrated into their studies and aims to introduce elementary and high school students to entrepreneurship by allowing them to experience the daily reality of a business.
Projects marked by an unusual year
The 105 businesses created this year were primarily of a social and altruistic nature. Entrepreneurship remained a driver for social change and a means of getting things done despite a difficult year. The organization's end-of-year gala was held recently to reveal this year's winning projects. Nancy Lee, manager of the Desjardins Foundation, was a member of the jury.
