Ten young First Nations people spend the day as interns at Desjardins
In February, 10 young Aboriginal people from across Quebec had the chance to shadow Desjardins Foundation employees as part of Hooked on School Days week. They got the chance to learn about different professions in the fields of finance and administration.
In addition to visiting the workplace and learning about careers in finance and administration, the young people met with Desjardins President Guy Cormier. Organized by the New Pathways Foundation, this event encourages young people to stay in school and aims to inspire career choices of tomorrow's leaders.
