Sébastien Vallée - Biography

Executive Vice-President, Wealth Management

Sébastien Vallée was appointed Executive Vice-President, Wealth Management in 2025 after serving as Vice-President, Investment Solutions since 2023. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has a master’s degree in finance.

As part of his role, Sébastien is responsible for overseeing the operations of Desjardins Investments and Desjardins Trust.

Sébastien is an authentic, effective leader who knows how to bring teams together and create conditions for success above and beyond expectations. He is known for his solid strategic vision, his extensive knowledge of the investment solutions market and wealth management operations, and his ability to build trusting relationships.

Since starting his career at Desjardins more than 25 years ago, Sébastien has worked his way through the ranks. During his 15-plus years in management and senior management positions, he has steered many major projects to completion. Thanks to his contributions, Desjardins’s structured products and investment funds have earned numerous industry awards for sales, innovation and performance.
